We’re looking for a Financial Analyst to work in the Leeds Bakery for one of the UK’s leading and most well known food-to-go retailers.
The main objective of the role is to provide financial and analytical support to the management team. You will be the senior finance person on site and you will support a number of key business decisions, analysing the bakery’s performance against budget and identifying any trends.
In the role you will produce budgets and forecasts for all cost centres. You’ll also provide weekly and monthly financial performance reports to the management team, highlighting any trends/variances and opportunities to reduce costs. These reports will include balance sheet accounts and trading profit and loss statements.
In addition you will analyse the ROI for new plant and equipment in the bakery, as well as leading the payroll team and financial administrator, ensuring compliance with HRMC.
We’re looking for a dynamic individual with excellent communication skills, who is either a fully qualified or part qualified accountant, and possesses exceptional analytical skills and attention to detail. It’s essential that you have very strong IT skills, ideally with some experience of Payroll systems, and you’ll be used to working autonomously in order to meet tight deadlines and hit targets. Consequently you’ll need to have excellent organisational skills and be able to make important decisions.
